Commission anniversary...

It was on St Patrick’s day last year (March 17) that the Holy See released a statement confirming the formation of a commission to investigate the “phenomenon” of Medjugorje.

Vatican spokesman Fr Leonardo Lombardi said at the time that as the commission carries out its activities it would decide whether or not to communicate information relative to any findings. So far no official statement has been given during the past 12 months.

Medjugorje will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the apparitions on June 25.
